Cuttlefish are one of the weirdest and most interesting cephalopods (cephalopods are a class of animals that includes cuttlefish, octopuses, squid, and nautiluses). They change colors to blend in with their surroundings, and they also change color based on their emotions. For example, if a cuttlefish is angry, it will flush red. On the Great Barrier Reef, you will often find them in pairs, hovering above the seafloor. They will observe you cautiously, and if you approach them slowly, you can get fairly close.
