This music video for my friend's Derby-based band is an example of low tech meets style. What is it they say, it's not what you've got, it's how you use it. Well, that's exactly what I did using Adobe Premiere, a Canon HV30, an aging mid-level laptop, and a bit of luck from the video gods!
We used a green screen, a roomful of balloons, some excellent dancers and some creative lighting techniques, but it was the band who shone through on the day with their performance of this classic feelgood song.
The final edit was in HD but for consideration of upload times I had to render one off in SD. DVD quality though, so can't complain too much!
I must admit, it was great fun working on this one. 1 day filming, 2 weeks editing, 5 hours rendering. But it was totally worth it. Enjoy!
