happily ever after

Remmy with Anna-Lina, one of her new family. Remmy came into the Metro Animal Services shelter in Louisville, KY in July 2009 emaciated and ragged. She was going to be euthanized, but she was so sweet and friendly I couldn't stand to see that happen. I searched desperately for a foster home for her, and through a connection at the zoo, found Anna-Lina's mom, Christine. Christine, Anna-Lina, her partner and son all fell in love with Remmy and decided not just to foster but to adopt her, and so Remmy will live happily ever after.
