SOME FACTS:
The Belgian Sheepdog is also known by the name "Groenendael."
The Groenendael takes its name from Chateau Groenendael in Belgium. It evenutually became known as the Belgian Sheepdog or in most parts of the world as the Chien de Berger Belge.
They do not tend to be friendly to all people, as they have been used over the centuries as guard dogs and herders and tend to remain quite reserved.
