Dilly is a tropical girdled lizard, Cordylus tropidosterum. They're often sold as "forest armadillo lizards" in the pet trade, which is a made-up name. They are related to the true armadillo lizard, but unlike the real thing, they cannot roll into a ball.
C. tropidosternum is very similar in appearance to C. jonseii (sometimes classed as a subspecies of C. tropidosternum). However, in C. tropidosternum, the nostril is in the lower posterior of the nasal scale. In C. jonseii it's in the center. Also, C. jonseii does not have keeled scales on the throat and belly.
