Luke is an energetic 5-year-old male Coonhound mix who weighs 58 pounds! He came to Lollypop Farm because his owners were moving and couldn’t take him along. This super friendly guy has been patiently waiting for a new home since May.

Luke seems a little crazy in his kennel, but once outside he’s a calm fellow who does great on a leash. When let off leash in the play area, he sniffs things out, but comes back frequently for a little loving. Luke loves a good ear rub!

He has spent most of his life outdoors so will need help adapting to the life of an indoor dog. Older kids are recommended, and he would do best in a house with no cats. Luke is waiting to meet you!

Pet of the Week: Melba, 9445320

Melba is a 6-year-old redbone coonhound mix who weighs about 100 pounds. She would love an active owner who would take her for lots of walks to help her lose the extra weight! She does well on the leash and likes walks.

Melba would do best in a home without kids under 12, and she should meet any dogs in the household before being adopted. She would love to go home with her buddy Finley, who is also at Lollypop Farm.

Melba is eligible for our Seniors-for-Seniors program, so adopters age 60 and older can take her home free of charge!

Pet of the Week: Nikki, 11616736

Nikki is a 3-year-old Bulldog/Pit Bull mix who weighs 46 pounds. She was rescued by our Law Enforcement officers in October because she was not being treated properly.

Nikki had a rough start in life, so she is a little unsure of new situations and takes her time getting to know new people. She enjoys her space, so a home with children over the age of 12 is recommended. This sweet girl needs a patient adopted who will take the time to help her regain her confidence.

If you are interested in meeting Nikki bring out the whole family to meet her, including any dogs in the household to make sure they’ll be buddies! Please consider giving this deserving girl a warm home to call her own!
