She loves to play soccer. She guards very well. All 17 pounds of her. She'll move around the ball so you can't kick it. She picks it up and carries it around too.

In James Turnock's write-up, he says, "On the way to the airplanes that evening, we came across a colony of Weddell seals. Some were swimming and others were sunning themselves on the ice shelf. They are not unfriendly and have no fear of men we were able to walk freely among them. I petted one of them and he rolled on his back like a big puppy all five hundred pounds of him."
They also ran into (in a different locale) two petrified seals that were found to be 2,000 years old. That was probably creepy.
BTW -- I should advise the reader that seals are not necessarily friendly. A woman in a city once tried to push a seal off a rock, mistakenly thinking it was stranded (and not sunning itself). It bit off her nose.
