She was getting really bold and coming very close. There was another hiker on the trail and we chatted a while wondering about the doe. Not only did she not mind our voices, she was inching even closer. I don't know what she was hoping for from us. Maybe food? Or trying to be discovered as a photo model? Or maybe it was just plain curiosity about those strange two-legged animals in her territory?
